Jackie Allen

I am Jackie and I am the Director of Village Preschool. Before moving to this position, I taught the Pre-K classroom at Village, since 2018. Prior to that, I taught at a multi age preschool in Los Altos. Before making the move to preschool, I taught first and third grades. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Human (Child) Development from UC San Diego. I obtained a Multiple Subjects Teaching Credential through San Diego State University. I also currently hold a Master’s degree in Bilingual Education/TESOL from Fairfield University in Connecticut. I love to continue to learn and improve my knowledge in my field and have also completed coursework at the University of Sevilla in Spain and locally at West Valley College.

I have three children and two dogs who keep me and my husband very busy with their various activities. We live in Saratoga.
